A 48-year-old man was allegedly killed for making advances on the girlfriend of another man in Palghar district of Maharashtra, police said on Tuesday.
The body of Ramesh Balan Nayar was found on a hillock, reported news agency PTI.
Acting on a tip-off, police traced one Govind Khaniya alias Bhurya, who told police that Nayar used to tease his girlfriend and also made advances towards the Palghar woman, reported PTI.
"Bhurya called Nayar to a hillock where he punched him and later squeezed his penis," an official said. Police had found the unidentified body on April 14 and registered a case of accidental death. Police have now added a murder charge to the FIR., reported PTI.
In another case, the highly decomposed body of a 29-year-old woman with a rope around her neck was found at her residence in suburban Goregaon on Tuesday afternoon while her husband, the prime suspect, was missing, police said, reported PTI.

The woman, identified as Dibya Toppo, probably died three or four days ago and the body was found wrapped in a plastic sheet, said an official, reported PTI.
She and her husband Jairam Lakada were living in a rented room for the past one year, he said, reported PTI.
When foul smell started coming out of the locked room, the owner broke the lock, only to find the woman's body inside. There was a nylon rope around her neck and her legs were tied, reported PTI.
Her husband Jairam is absconding and a case was registered against him under IPC section 302 (murder) at Vanrai police station, the official said, adding that probe was on.
