Maharashtra govt issues Covid-19 guidelines for Muharram, check details

The Maharashtra govt has issued a set of guidelines to observe Muharram in the state. In a circular released last week, the government has disallowed large processions and gatherings, like last year.

Muharram is observed by Muslims to mourn the death of Hazrat Imam Hussain, in the battle of Karbala, in the seventh century.
