A day after legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar's demise, Maharashtra BJP MLA Ram Kadam has written to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, requesting a memorial of the veteran singer at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
"On behalf of millions of fans and music lovers, I urge that a memorial of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar ji be constructed on the same spot where she was cremated at Shivaji Park," Kadam wrote in a letter to the Chief Minister.
