1,200-page charge sheet details gruesome manner in which man dismembered and boiled 32-year-old woman, as cops say they have enough evidence to secure highest punishment

Accused was arrested on June 7 after body parts were found in the flat

The Naya Nagar police in Mira Road have filed a 1,200-page charge sheet in the alleged murder of a 32-year-old woman by her 56-year-old partner. The victim's body was found dismembered and boiled in their rented flat in June. The police mentioned in the charge sheet that they have not yet determined the cause of death as the woman's uterus is missing.

The police submitted the charges sheet to the Thane court on September 5, stating that their investigation into the murder case was complete and they had enough evidence to prove that the suspect killed the woman. The charge sheet also reveals that the DNA of the deceased matched with that of her sister. The police also said the murder had been planned.

According to the police, after killing the woman, the accused took around 20 photos of himself in the nude along with the body. The charge sheet also states that the police have collected CCTV footage from the crime scene. A police officer said, "We have substantial evidence, including CCTV footage, weapons such as a knife and cutter machine, oil, clothes, bloodstains, records of dating applications, samples of chass [buttermilk], and more."

Sources at the police department told mid-day that the incident occurred on June 3 when the accused allegedly killed his partner by adding pesticides to buttermilk. The couple had not been physically intimate for six months due to the accused's habit of chatting with other women. The deceased suspected that he was involved with someone else, leading to frequent arguments.

On May 28, the accused approached the woman again to get intimate, but she refused and threw him out of the bedroom. This rejection reportedly angered the accused, leading him to plan the murder. The man then bought pesticides and chass. Later, he bought a cutter machine from a shop in Bhayander and used it to chop the deceased body into 36 pieces. The accused earlier claimed that the woman had consumed poison and died after a fight. However, the police didn't buy this theory.

It took the accused approximately two days to dismember the body, after which he separated the flesh from the bones and boiled them in a cooker at home. The police discovered 5-6 utensils containing body parts submerged in water. They also found the accused's web history, which included searches on how long it takes for a body to decompose and how to dismember a body. Additionally, multiple dating applications were found to be on the accused's mobile phone.

The police have questioned doctors who conducted the post-mortem about whether the accused had engaged in any sexual activity with the woman after her death. However, due to the missing uterus, determining the exact cause of death remains challenging.
