The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) will host its first virtual e-Yantra Symposium on April 2, 2022 where the institute will share their last year's achievements.
The e-Yantra project is sponsored by the Ministry of Education (MoE), under the National Mission for Education through ICT (NMEICT), to provide hands-on learning infrastructure to students who have limited access to labs and mentors.
"Through the e-Yantra conference, the researchers get ideas for innovation. It also helps Investors to get a look at early-stage startups," stated a press statement issued by IIT Bombay.
It further said, "Over the past decade e-Yantra, the IIT Bombay-based robotics outreach project has trained over 1.60 lakh engineering students in complex engineering skills through various competitions. e-Yantra has set up over 430 e-Yantra Labs to seed an innovation culture in engineering colleges. The effect has been high-powered placements, students inspired to do postgraduate degrees and startups."
