The CISCE circular asks students to strictly follow all COVID-19 safety protocols
THE ICSE board exams for Std X and Std XII students start in April, the council announced on Monday evening. With the declaration of dates, it is now clear that all board exams will be held through traditional pen-paper format.
According to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) circular, Std X exams will be held from May 5 to June 7, and Std XII students will write their papers from April 8 to June 7.
The council has uploaded the detailed time table on its official website. The circular also lists out instructions to ensure safety of students amid the pandemic.
"Candidates must reach the examination centre well ahead of time to ensure staggered movement and smooth entry to school and to avoid overcrowding," read the circular.

Candidates must wear a mask, carry hand sanitiser, avoid touching their face and maintain the recommended physical distance of at least six feet on the school campus, it added. The use of gloves is optional.
