ICSE results in Mumbai exceptionally good this year: Teachers

Several institutions, such as the Walshingham House School at Malabar Hill, which saw 48 students score above 90 per cent, have seen an improvement in overall results


Most schools in the city have enough reasons to celebrate this year's ISCE results. Most principals say the results have improved in their schools this year.


Reny Shah dedicated six hours to her studies every day and scored 98.2 per cent

The overall pass percentage of students across the country stood at 98.28 per cent whereas the pass percentage in Maharashtra was 99.64 per cent. According to data provided by board officials, four students shared the first spot in the state with 98.6 per cent.

Speaking to sunday mid-day Dr. Janaki Anant Krishnan, principal of Walsingham House School in Malabar Hill said, "The results were much better compared to last year. Our school topper this year scored 98.2 per cent and as many as 48 students have scored above 90 per cent. The students have performed exceptionally well in all subjects, specially in Commercial applications and Social studies."

Reny Shah (AIR-3) of Walsingham House School, who scored 98.2 per cent said, "If one studies regularly, everything is possible, I studied six hours a day with an additional hour for math each day, and that is the reason I hit the bulls eye with a 100/100 in maths."
