Thanks to the tablet's tracking technology, the car, which went missing from Perry Cross Road last Friday, was found in Jalgaon; the two accused were arrested on Monday

Leaving his iPad in his car saved a 38-year-old businessman from having to lose the vehicle to thieves. On January 10, Siraj Nagan's red Innova went missing from outside his house on Perry Cross Road in Bandra (West).

His Apple tablet was inside the car. The next morning, Nagan, an export trader, lodged a complaint with the Bandra police. He also informed the cops about the Apple device he had left inside the car, and told them that its satellite tracking system was activated.

"Soon after the complaint was registered, we started tracking the device in the car from another Apple device," said assistant police inspector (API) A Pawar of Bandra police station. "The tracking started at 8 am on Saturday, and the missing property was located at around 2 pm the same day," the officials informed. As per the tracker, the iPad was revealed to be in Jalgaon.
