Actress Raveena Tandon is reportedly âtraumatised' after a video alleging rash driving went viral on social media. Returning home in her chauffeur-driven car on Saturday night, Tandon found herself in an altercation with a group of people, including three women, who alleged they were brushed by her vehicle. The individuals in the video claimed that âTandon was drunk,' but Tandon denied the accusation when questioned by Khar police. Both Tandon and a woman who claimed to be injured provided written statements to the police, expressing their reluctance to register any case.

The video quickly went viral on social media platforms. In the video, Tandon is seen appealing to the mob, "Don't hit him. Don't touch my driver. I request you. Please don't do it," as she attempts to shield her driver from further harm. The mob continued to accuse and harass Tandon, even as she tried to calm the situation. Tandon's manager informed mid-day, "Raveena Tandon is not in a state to talk. She is traumatised. We don't want to comment further on this matter."

This reporter also visited the alleged accident spot, where security guards, who were eyewitnesses, said, "There was no accident at the place. The driver, Jay Kapse, was innocent and was manhandled. Raveena ma'am's car did not touch anyone, and nobody was injured in this incident. When Raveena ma'am came outside, this family and the mob started abusing and harassing her and her driver, Kapse. They created a video claiming false allegations and intentionally made it viral."

A senior officer said, "The actress' driver was reversing the car when four family members walking on the road stopped the car driver." The officer clarified that Tandon was not intoxicated and that her driver was not at fault.
"The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the CCTV footage. Both the complainant and actress gave us letters stating they do not want to register any complaint," added the officer. The cops are mulling taking action against the person for making the video and uploading it on social media to make it go viral.
