Mumbai's favourite festival is here. Every year, Mumbai celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with unparalled vigour but this year, it is going to be a low-key affair owing to the restrictions imposed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Mumbaicha Raja in Ganesh Galli is one of the most popular idols and pooja mandal in the city. This year, as per guidelines, the height of the idol is restricted to 4ft is public madals.
Adhering to the Covid-19 protocols the pooja mandal's across the city have started preparations to worship bappa. The pooja rituals like Haldikunku festivities, mahaarti, etc. can be witnessed online.

However, as per BMC guidelines no mandal should allow physical darshan. Only 10 fully-vaccinated members will be allowed in sarvajanik mandals to become a part of the arrival and visarjan of Lord Ganesha.
