Four children drowned in sea at Kelwa Beach, around 80 km from Mumbai, on Thursday.
According to eyewitnesses, on Thursday afternoon, a 13-year-old boy was playing in the water along with three of his friends, all of them from Palghar.
During the time of high tide, the boys decided to swim ashore. While three of them managed to reach the shore, the 13-year-old boy was still stuck at sea.
When the boys screamed for help, four students, who were on a school trip from Nashik, jumped in the water to save the boy.
