Cruise ship drugs case: Manish Bhanushali and KP Gosavi were not known to NCB, says Deputy DG Gyaneshwar Singh

In a press conference addressed by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), the agency has refuted the allegations levelled by NCP leader Nawab Malik and said that they are doing an unbiased probe. NCB's Deputy DG Gyaneshwar Singh and Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede were addressing the media on the cruise ship drugs raid case.

"We (NCB) do an unbiased probe. Manish Bhanushali and KP Gosavi were not known to NCB. We have arrested eight people and six others were let off after recording their statements as nothing substantial was found against them. Allegations against NCB are baseless and made with malafide intention," said Gyaneshwar Singh.

Earlier in the day, Nawab Malik in his press conference had said that Aryan Khan was framed in the drugs case and initially 11 people were detained by the NCB out of which three were let go, including BJP Yuva President Mohit Kamboj aka Mohit Bharatiya's brother-in-law Rishab Sachdev. He also claimed that BJP leaders from Delhi and Maharashtra pulled strings to release the three: Rishab Sachdev, Pratik Gaba and Amir Furniturewala.
