Covid-19: Mumbai reports 22 new cases

Mumbai reported 22 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, as per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) data.

Presently, the city now has 92 active Covid-19 cases.

According to data, Mumbai's overall growth rate of cases between August 22 and August 28 is 0.0009 per cent, and the recovery rate stood at 98.3 per cent.

So far, 189,23,501 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the city, including 309 samples taken in the past 24 hours.

The caseload doubling time is 69,617 days, as per civic data.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra reported 36 new cases and zero deaths. 26 patients were discharged on August 29, 2023, taking the total tally of discharged patients to 80,21,934.

The recovery rate in the state is 98.18 per cent. The case fatality rate in the state is 1.81 per cent.
