On Tuesday, Maharashtra reported 12 new Covid-19 cases and zero deaths, as per the health bulletin released by the government.
According to the bulletin, 18 patients were discharged today taking the total tally of recovered patients to 80,21,617.
"The recovery rate in the state is 98.18 per cent," said the health official.
"The case fatality rate in the state is 1.81 per cent, " added the health official.

Out of 8,74,37,840 laboratory samples 81,70,276 have tested positive (9.34 per cent) for Covid-19 until today.
"Around 3,343 test were done today out of which 2,795 test were conducted in government laboratories, 547 were done in private laboratoriesand one by self-test," the health official said.
At present dominant variant of COVID is Omicron XBB.1.16. Total 1733 cases were found to be infected with this variant. There were 19 deaths reported among the cases of this variant.
Since January 1, 2023, 126 Covid-19 deaths have been recorded. 72.22per cent of these deaths have occurred in individuals above 60 years of age, 84 per cent of the deceased had comorbidities, 16 per cent did not have any comorbidity.
Maharashtra presently has 103 active cases.
