With vaccine shortage crippling the city's inoculation drive, the BMC said that it will not be able to carry out vaccinations today. The drive will now start on Friday again. While the civic body has received a confirmation that vaccine stock will arrive in the city late on Wednesday night, civic officials said that it would be difficult to distribute it among 280 centres in the city within hours. The corporation will receive a total of 61,200 doses, which will hardly be enough for the next two days, said sources.
