CBI seeks 14 days time to reply on Indrani Mukerjea's ‘Sheena Bora is alive’ claim

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has sought 14 days time from special CBI court to file its reply on accused Indrani Mukerjea's application seeking an investigation into her claim that Sheena Bora is alive.

The probe agency had been directed by a special court to file its reply today. According to Indrani, a jail inmate had told her about meeting Sheena in Jammu and Kashmir on June 21, 2021.

As of now, Irdani is being prosecuted along with three others for allegedly killing Sheena Bora.
