Four girls were flashed by a boy while on their way back from college near Powai. The incident took place around 11.30 am near the Powai Hiranandani Galleria mall. Not being able to contact the police control room, the girls approached a constable, who was standing near the spot, and narrated the incident to him.
However, the cop asked them to go home and assured that action would be taken in the matter. Later, the Powai cops visited their house and took their complaint. A case has been registered in the matter and police are on the lookout for the accused.
Navinchandra Reddy, DCP (Zone 10), said, "A case has been registered at Powai police station under sections 354 D and 509 of IPC. We have got the number of the accused's bike. A manhunt has been launched in the matter."
