Upset with her parents for fixing her marriage, an 18-year-old girl from Karnataka took the first train out of her home town - and found herself at Dadar station, unable to communicate in Marathi or Hindi. Thankfully, the cops found her.
The teenager is now back home
Speaking to Sunday mid-day, sub-inspector Padmashree Patil from Matunga police station said, "The girl had a phone number but the number appeared switched off. The number was from Karnataka and we contacted the state's control room.
A missing complaint had been filed," he added. The parents arrived in Mumbai and took her back home.
