On the ocassion of New Year's Eve, Western Railway and Central Railway will run slow special trains for the benefit of party revellers
Mumbaikars celebrating New Year will have trains to return home with both Western and Central Railway running special suburban trains on the occasion.
Central Railway will to run four suburban special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Kalyan and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Panvel on 1.1.2016 (after the midnight of 31.12.2015) for the benefit passengers on the occasion of New Year's Eve. These suburban special trains will stop at all stations.
Central line specials:
1. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai - Kalyan Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 01.30 hrs and arrive Kalyan at 03.00 hrs.
2. Kalyan - Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai Special will leave Kalyan at 01.30 hrs and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 03.00 hrs.
Harbour line specials:
3. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai - Panvel Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 01.30 hrs and arrive Panvel at 02.50 hrs.
4. Panvel - Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai Special will leave Panvel at 01.30 hrs and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 02.50 hrs.
Western Railway will also run eight special local trains on 31st December midnight.
Keeping in mind the extra rush of passengers on the occasion of new year, Western Railway will also run eight special local trains on midnight of 31st December, 2015. The 12 coach- special trains will halt at all stations. Four trains will run from Churchgate to Virar and four from Virar to Churchgate.
