Let Go is a participatory art initiative by an entrepreneur, where you can come, write your fear, attach it to a balloon and let it fly away, today
If you're still in the mood for celebrating the spirit of freedom, how about liberating yourself today? Imagine scribbling all those insecurities and letting them fly away, so that you become a better and happier person. Shreya Naik, a city-based entrepreneur and street artist, has devised an endearing scheme for you to do just that.

"I've heard many people say that the process of letting go can be hard, but believe it or not, the simplest of gestures can make it easier! For years now, whenever something brings me down, I buy a balloon on the road and just release it into the sky.
And, as I watch it go up, I feel so much better because I have let go of whatever was bothering me," says Naik. Lately, the thought struck her that her "silly childish game" is
better than any kind of therapy, bingeing or shopping spree to elevate one's mood.
Making it a project, Naik invites one and all to come and write their worries on a piece of paper today, attach it to a colourful balloon and let your past years' baggage take flight. Naik says that once the balloon has flown away, as a project it ceases to be, except that she will photograph it for the project's archives.
Also, she aims to make the project travel to various locations around Mumbai and, eventually, outside the city. The fun bit? "To see pictures of the balloons scattered around the city!" she remarks. We prod her for what she would like to let go? "My fear of a heartbreak," says the owner of Artsy Fartsy and Co, an art company.
