"Experts in respective regions can tell about their sports or culture more accurately. And since skating has been a sport with Western influence, who better to help us construct a perfect park than the skating experts from foreign countries.
Hence we are mulling to take help from them," said S R Pawar, executive engineer at NMMC. He further revealed that a few local skating groups and experts have also sent their suggestions and designs for the proposed park.
The park would be spread over 32,000 sq m area and would have two sections including one for beginners and the other for professionals. Officials further added that apart from the skating park, there would be several other outdoor gaming facilities constructed.
