Drivers escape with minor injuries in 3 road mishaps in the wee hours of the morning
Wednesday started with a spree of hit-and-run mishaps on the Expressways.

Till 3 am last night, three accidents were reported from across the city. While there were no casualties, the vehicles suffered serious damages.
Accident no 1: A speeding carrier ran into an Innova at Nehru Nagar, Kurla at 2.15 am and fled. The car driver Kumar S suffered minor injuries on his nose, but the car was damaged beyond repair.
The bonnet of the vehicle was blown off and its rear was completely smashed.
P Kadam, on-duty traffic inspector, said "Judging by the damage, the truck must have been at high speed. Fortunately the AC in the car was not working, otherwise the vehicle would be up in flames."

Accident no 3: An Innova rammed into a truck on Eastern Express Highway at around 2 am, but the driver fled from the spot before the Kurla police arrived. The truck driver was also untraceable. |
