While for Ansari she sought death, she demanded life sentence for alleged SIMI operative Saquib Nachan, convicted for possession of arms. Salian said she sought life sentence because Nachan already has multiple cases against him.

She also sought lifers for Gulam Khotal, Farhan Khot and Mohmmed Shaikh, convicted under relevant sections of POTA Act, Explosive Substance Act and Arms Act.

For Ateef Mulla and Hasib Mulla, convicted under POTA Act for possession of unauthorised arms, Salian sought 10 years of imprisonment stating they were not history-sheeters.

After listening to both the sides, POTA Judge PR Deshmukh deferred the matter for sentencing for today.
