A navy seaman hanged himself on INS Tabar on Saturday. CR Naikalu, 35, hailed from Andhra Pradesh. The Colaba police have registered an accidental death report. He was found at about 4am, and colleagues immediately removed the rope around his neck and took him to the hospital. He was declared dead before admission. "His family has been informed. The body has been sent for a post mortem," said the police. No suicide note was found.
