A golden jackal was seriously injured after it was hit by an unknown vehicle near Sanpada. Its condition is said to be critical
A golden jackal was seriously injured after it was hit by an unknown vehicle near Sanpada. Its condition is said to be critical. On Thursday night, a team of animal lovers and rescuers with help of Thane Territorial Range Staff and Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare (RAWW) rescued the jackal.

Honorary Wildlife Warden and head of RAWW, Pawan Sharma, said, "Our team with the help of other wildlife lovers on Thursday night rescued a golden jackal that was hit by an unidentified vehicle. It was rushed to the BSPCA animal hospital, and its condition still remains critical. It is unable to walk due to the severe injuries it has sustained."
