In a shocking incident, a famous actress in Marathi films, has claimed that a 43-year-old drunk businessman allegedly molested her inside a Mira Road cinema hall.
The businessman, identified as Sunil Jani, was arrested on Saturday evening following the complaint by the woman, who is the wife of a late actor known for playing comic roles in Bollywood and Marathi movies, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror.
The actress had her daughter for company when the incident is said to have taken place.

The accused was consequently arrested with the help of the theatre's security guards and booked under the Indian Penal Code sections 354 (assault and molestation) and 509 (outraging a woman's modesty).
According to the complaint, which the actress filed with the Kashimira police, the accused, accompanied by three others, was "very drunk" and started creating a ruckus as soon as the 5.30 pm show started, the publication reported.
The actress claimed that many people complained about the behaviour of Jani and his friends which forced them to leave the hall. But a fe minutes later she held a hand touching her waist, and turned around to see Jani seating behind her. "I slapped him and raised an alarm. The man was reeking of alcohol. I managed to catch hold of him but he pushed me and ran out. My daughter was traumatised," the newspaper quoted her as having told the police.
She then approached the guards at the mall and got him caught.
The article quoted Superintendent of Police (Thane Rural) Mahesh Patil as saying that the Kashimira cops were investigating the matter.
