38- year- old had hidden the fact that he was married when he got into a relationship with the woman; when she ended all ties upon learning this, he started harassing her to come back to him
A software engineer working with a multinational was arrested for posting semi- nude pictures of his ex- girlfriend on the Internet. The matter came to light after the woman registered the case with the Goregaon police.
Police officials arrested Hitendranath Jeetendranath Kamandulla (38), after the 31- year- old woman lodged a complaint against him. Kamandulla met the woman in the 2006, when both of them were working for a private call centre in Malad. They struck a friendship there.

In a year's time, Kamandulla left for London for his higher studies, while the woman continued in her job. In London, the man chatted with the woman on Facebook. Eventually, the two fell in love. Kamandulla even flew down from London to meet his girlfriend and spend time with her in Mumbai. The duo decided to get married, as well.
Paradise lost
To her shock, the woman found out in 2010 that her boyfriend was already married and had a six- year- old son.
According to the police, the man had been married since 2003, and was duping the woman. Devastated, the woman ended all ties and left for Dubai for a job in a private bank. However, Kamandulla kept calling and messaging her to come back to him. In the past six months, he started to harass her. The woman lives alone in Dubai.
A Goregaon police officer said, "The accused continuously messaged and texted her. He sent her, her own semi- nude photographs, which he had clicked when they were dating, on her personal mail and official bank email ID." The officer further said the man even uploaded the pictures on private websites, and would send the links to the woman. He would even send her vulgar mails on her official bank email account, the officer added.

The woman flew down from Dubai last week and made an official complaint with the Cyber Cell of Mumbai police.
Sub- inspector Sanjay Chavan of Goregaon police station said, "We registered case under section 420 ( cheating), 467 ( forgery) and 506 ( criminal intimidation) of IPC and sections 66 and 67 of the Information Technology Act.
The accused was in Delhi, and was arrested on his return to the city. He has been remanded to police custody and the woman has gone back to Dubai.
