The 30-year-old accused is on the run, while the victim, who was recently released from jail after serving four years on a rape charge, is currently recuperating at Sion Hospital
The Kurla police is searching high and low for a 30-year-old man who sodomised his 36-year-old friend. The victim, who is currently admitted to Sion hospital had ironically emerged from prison just recently after serving a four -year sentence. His crime: raping a woman.

The victim has alleged that the accused in the present case, Babu Jadhav, was drunk when he committed the crime.
According to officials of the Kurla police station, both Jadhav and the victim are residents of Sambhaji Nagar and work for a private firm. Both reside in the same area and knew each other well enough to share a drink.
According to the victim's statement, on Wednesday, the two were drinking inside a room when Jadhav suddenly became irate and demanded to have sex. Before the victim could run away, Jadhav allegedly forced himself on the former, threatening to kill him if he revealed his ordeal to anyone.
The next morning, the victim gathered courage and filed a complaint. Senior police inspector Laxman Shine of Kurla police station said, "We have registered case under Section 377 of IPC. The accused is still at large."
The victim was taken to Sion Hospital where he is still recuperating. His condition is now stable and the police will be taking his statement again on Sunday.
