The bullets she accidentally carried in her laptop bag
A Jammu resident was detained at the Mumbai airport on January 14 for possession of 10 live rounds. During the handbag security check, her bag showed suspicious articles, and upon checking it CISF personnel recovered live rounds. She was asked for valid documents to carry the same, but failed to provide them. She was then taken to the airport police station. She was let off after her husband provided online, his licence for keeping arms.
In her statement to police, Anshu Sharma said she had taken her husband's laptop bag containing the live rounds, by mistake. Police sources said, "Since her kids are fond of playing video games on the laptop, she had carried it. To keep it safe, she had taken her husband's laptop bag, without checking it".

Her husband was contacted by police and he mailed his arms license to them. Based on the valid document, no complaint was registered at the police station. However, the woman was asked to give her statement in writing to the CISF and the police. She was then allowed to board the same flight of Indigo Airlines in which she was to fly to Jammu with her kids. Her husband Vinay Kumar Sharma is a businessman in Jammu and holds a valid license to keep arms.
