A man from Andheri was allegedly assaulted and abused by the staffers of a hookah bar. According to a report by The Free Press Journal, the victim's older brother claims he is currently admitted in the ICU of Surana City hospital.

The Amboli police have registered a cross-complaint in the case, which allegedly took place on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Regarding the assault the victim's brother Ramkaran Yadav said that his 22-year-old younger sibling Lalbahadur Yadav went to the bar at around 3:00 am, when he was not allowed to sit on a table saying all of them were booked.

Following an argument, Ramkaran alleges that his brother was brutally attacked and abused by the owner and staff and beaten in the back with an iron rod multiple times.
