The city — sliced, diced and served with a dash of sauce

Capdevila Sez...
Spain's 2010 World Cup winning left-back Joan Capdevila isn't one to shy away from a challenge. But the footballer, who will be seen playing in the Indian Super League for the John Abraham co-owned NorthEast United Football Club, may have found one that even he cannot overcome: Bollywood.

Or more specifically, dancing in a Bollywood movie. When Abraham joked that Capdevila could play a role in his upcoming movie, 1911 at a press conference recently, the Spaniard gamely said yes but went on to add, "No dancing." Guess some things are best left to the professionals.

Peace movin' and groovin'
A mob and peace seem to be at odds with each other, but both these came together in perfect synchronisation on World Peace Day, yesterday. More than 100 young people from the city performed a six-minute synchronised dance at various locations.
