The Ghatkopar police arrested a 29-year-old man on Saturday, for allegedly sodomising an 11-year-old boy living in his neighbourhood, on the pretext of taking him out on a cycle ride. The matter came to light when the victim's parents noticed behavioural changes in him on the day of the incident.
Parellel probe
Thereafter, the police and Crime Branch officers launched a parallel probe in the matter and arrested the accused after going through the available evidences. According to the victim's account, he met the man Pramod Kamble near his residence. The accused initiated a conversation with the boy after giving him his phone for playing games on it.
