A producer of Zee TV was found dead in a lake at Royal Palms in Aarey Colony, Goregaon on Saturday night. The deceased identified as Sohan Chavan was the senior producer of Zee TV, his body was discovered from Nancy Lake in Aarey colony. Police are investigating the reason behind Dhuri's death. According to the police, no injuries were found on his body and it is suspected that he drowned.

On Saturday, Aarey Colony police were informed about a body floating in a pond at around 7.35pm, behind bungalow 25, overlooking Imperial Palace Hotel. The police have registered an accidental death report.
Senior inspector Vijaylaxmi Heremeth from Aarey police station stated that the cops had registered an accidental death report and the investigation was underway. He said' "We are going through the CCTV from the area." The body was recovered from the same lake where the dead body of Atharva Shinde (a police inspector's son) was found last year. The body has been sent to the Sidharth hospital in Goregaon for post mortem.

The deceased's wife was in Delhi at the time of the incident hence his brother approached the police station. Chavan and his wife got married six months ago and the couple resided in a rented flat at Ruby apartment in Royal Palms, located in the western suburbs of Mumbai.

Mumbai Crime: Drunken youth bangs car into cab, kills passenger in Goregaon
A 33-year-old Andheri West resident died on Sunday night when a car driven by a 19-year-old drunken boy banged into the cab he was travelling in near Virvani bus stop, Goregaon East, on the Western Express Highway. The impact of the collision was such that the passenger, identified as Shaileshkumar Pyarelal Mishra, got badly injured and started bleeding from his mouth and nose. Woman who accused Karan Oberoi of rape planned attack on self to strengthen case

After 13 deaths, Bandra's fatal U-bridge to be walled for safety
The U-bridge that connects Bandra East to West has been claiming more than three to four lives every year since 2015.
