An officer from Navghar police station said, "The girl had been going to the motor training school for past one week and Rokade constantly troubled her by asking her out on a date. He had even told her to go with him to Bandra Bandstand where he said he would train her nicely."

"Rokade used to touch her hands and even her thighs. She was upset but did not complain. But on Saturday he started touching her private parts," added the officer. The police said on Saturday the accused directed her to a place in Mulund and started touching her private parts.

As her relatives stayed in a building nearby, the girl got out of the car and called her cousin. He arrived and confronted Rokade and took him to the police station where he and the girl registered a complaint. Rokade was immediately arrested. Senior Police Inspector Ramdas More from Navghar police station said they are investigating whether the accused has harassed more girls.

Rokade has been booked under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 354 (a) (sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code while he was produced in holiday court and has been remanded in police custody till Tuesday.
