Professional riders, college students, professionals from IT and other fields, local politicians and Mumbai Dabbawalas joined the raly
Nearly 250 riders came together from the various parts of Mumbai and from various backgrounds to ride together on Monday for Save Water Save Life awareness campaign.
The rally started from Windermere, Oshiwara to Lokhandwala back road, Four Bungalows, to Yari Road, Versova village and back to Celebration club in Andheri - west.
The awareness rally was organised by Maharashtra's BJP State Secretary; Sanjay Pandey whose NGO Nanaji Deshmukh Pratishthan is quite active in water conservation drives across Maharashtra. The rally was flagged off by Firoza Suresh who is the "Bicycle Mayor" of Mumbai.

The rally was joined by popular TV personalities like Amar Upadhayay, professional riders, college students, professionals from IT and other fields, local politicians and Mumbai Dabbawalas.
Sanjay Pandey is doing work of Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan in Latur and Wardha district in Vidharbh from last 3 years.
Without going into the causes, Sanjay said, "When we see the dire condition of people in rural areas and scarce resources, it is our duty towards our Nation to help our people." Besides Jalyukt Shivar, distributing free water tankers to villages in Nanded and water conservation awareness drives in Mumbai, Sanjay is looking to bring a permanent solution to the water problem. The cycle ride was also a message to save the environment and staying healthy. Appeals were made by everyone to start saving water.
