A minor fire broke out at Mantralaya at around 4 pm, Monday, which was eventually doused by the firefighters. No casualties were reported in the incident


Mumbai: A minor fire broke out at Mantralaya at around 4 pm, Monday, which was eventually doused by the firefighters. No casualties were reported in the incident.

The fire resulted as a result of a short circuit on the first floor of the building. Two fire engines were rushed to the spot and fire officials had things under control in a few minutes.

In 2012, a major fire had gutted the top three floors of the Maharashtra secretariat, which left few people dead, and a dozen injured
