Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif's make up artist and producer of film âChalk and Duster', Subhash Singh's his 22-year-daughter Sonali and a two-year-old boy named Abdul Rahman were stuck in a lift for more than half an hour on Friday. The incident occurred at a 20-storey building, Kapilvastu society, in Siddharth Nagar, in Goregaon.

Singh told mid-day that he begged and cried with the police to take his complaint, after which they did the same, and he pleaded with cops to take action.
"This is not the first time such a thing has happened. It has occurred even in the past due to irresponsible committee members," he added, directly holding the building committee responsible for this incident
However, when contacted, the secretary of the society, Babu Rao Kavale, told the paper, "The building redevelopment was done in May 2013, but the OC is still not given. Also, there are not much benefits given. It was only on humanity grounds that some people where given possession by the builder. So, the society members are not responsible for this."
