This incident happened minutes after a 13-year-old kid died on the railway track.

CR officials said that the school kid Gaurav Vora was crossing tracks when he was hit by a moving train near Sandhurst Road. Vora was then taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.

This angered the locals who protested by blocking the railway tracks.

Nearly 100 people came on tracks and stopped trains on all four lines affecting rail services between Byculla and CST. The train services resumed at 1.35pm after the Railway police intervened.
