The 16-year-old got angry when his friend got tickets of the hit Marathi film for others in the group but left him out of the movie plan, since he was younger than them
Enraged that he was left out of a plan to watch hit Marathi movie âSairat', a 16-year-old assaulted his friend with an iron rod.

The Hill Line police in Ulhasnagar have arrested the minor and sent him to the Bhiwandi remand home.
The victim is Krishna aka Monty Shinde (22), a resident of Sahyadri Nagar, Ulhasnagar. The accused resides in a nearby area and recently appeared for his SSC exams. The movie, âSairat' has been very popular since its release, and Shinde and his friends, Sagar Asavle, Ravi Andhangle and Amol Lokhande, decided to watch it last week.
The group had decided to go for the 3 pm show on Saturday. That day, the minor told Shinde that he wished to go for the movie as well.
Since Shinde and his friends are older, they did not take the minor seriously and they did not bring a ticket for him.
Heated argument
While the four friends were on their way to the cinema hall, the accused approached them. Shinde said, "He stood in the middle of the road and started asking me why I didn't bring him a ticket. He was very aggressive. We had a minor argument and there was some pushing, after which my friends intervened and we decided to leave for the cinema hall."
"While we were going, he picked up an iron rod from a machine shop, hit me on my head and went away. I started bleeding profusely. My friends then picked me up and rushed me to a nearby hospital," he added.
Cops say
Shinde later approached the Hill Line police station and filed a complaint against the minor. PSI Pawan Thakur said, "Based on the complaint, we have arrested the minor and filed a case under Section 324 (Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) of the IPC. We have sent him to the Bhiwandi remand home."
Shinde said, "He holds a grudge against me, but I am shocked that he attacked me in this manner for a mere ticket. I could have lost my life. I received four stitches on my head."
