An egg-menu for breakfast is a fine way to start a day, but not if it is served raw and while you jog.

Mumbai police commissioner D Sivanandan, who was jogging at Marine Drive at around 8 am, caught four boys in a Honda CR-V after he saw them aim eggs at joggers yesterday. None of the joggers, however, were hit.

Police station

Sivanandan called the Marine Drive police who immediately reached the spot.

The boys were taken to the police station, where it was revealed that one boy was the son of an airline magnate, while another was a friend of a senior NCP leader's son.

Drama

According to police sources, the boys created a scene, made phone calls, after which the copsu00a0 were told to let them off.

A police officer said, "The incident was not a major crime. The boys were brought to the police station and warned of indecent behaviour at a public place."

Sivanandan said, "It was not a major offence and they were just kids."
