Nodal town planning authority Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has entered into an agreement with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the implementation of the Dahisar to DN Nagar metro-2 corridor.
Nodal town planning authority Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has entered into an agreement with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the implementation of the Dahisar to DN Nagar metro-2 corridor.
The MMRDA has also appointed DMRC as the Interim consultants for the Dahisar-East to Andheri-East metro-7 corridor through a separate contract, MMRDA said in a statement today.
The DMRC will work as interim consultants for the metro-7 corridor until such time that general consultants are appointed so as to begin all preparatory and preliminary work to commence the project.
The DMRC will also assist MMRDA in appointing the general consultants for the Rs.4,737 crore Dahisar (East) to Andheri (East) corridor, it said.
The Rs 5,566 crore Dahisar to DN Nagar corridor is the first phase of the Dahisar-Charkop-Bandra-Mankhurd metro-2 and will be implemented by the DMRC who have prepared the detailed project report for it.
"The DMRC will oversee the project and will help prepare all documentation related to construction including bid documents, estimations, among others," MMRDA said.
