Kolkata fire: Congress workers dance to item numbers after tragedy

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's decision of not celebrating her birthday after the tragedy in Kolkata was not relayed to party workers in Mumbai.

The Goregaon wing of the state party organised a celebration at a bar on Film City road, where party workers danced to raunchy Bollywood item numbers.

Former Mumbai Congress chief, Union Home Minister Gurudas Kamat and Congress MLA Raj Hans Singh were at the party. Mumbai Congress spokesperson Nizamuddin Rayeen told Sunday MiD DAY that he heard about the incident and will initiate an enquiry after looking at a video of the party.
