Khandare is MMRDA's new Additional Metropolitan Commissioner

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) today said Sanjay Khandare, an IAS of 1996 batch, has been appointed as the Additional Metropolitan Commissioner


Mumbai: Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) today said Sanjay Khandare, an IAS of 1996 batch, has been appointed as the Additional Metropolitan Commissioner.

Prior to his appointment as the AMC, Khandare served as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), a statement issued here stated.

Khandare started his career as Assistant Collector, Solapur District and then continued in different capacities as CEO, Kolhapur Zilla Parishad, Collector of Nandurbar, Joint Chief Executive Officer Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation( MIDC), Mumbai and Member Secretary, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Mumbai.

Khandare is a bachelor of technology in agriculture and holds a master's degree in industrial engineering.
