Plans are afoot to accommodate a 35-floor high-rise in the 100-acre sprawling campus of u00a0Sir JJ Hospital inu00a0u00a0Byculla. "Ratnakar Gaikwad, the chief secretary, was in the hospital for four hours and inspected the entire hospital. He is positive about the high-rise. In the last few years we have added nine super-specialty departments, but have u00a0not increased space. There is a dire need in the u00a0hospital for more space to achieve excellence in u00a0both academics and u00a0patient care," said Dr T P Lahane, dean of JJ hospital.
