Graffit artIn an effort to encourage people to use subways, the Yuva Sena had filed a petition last month, which the BMC accepted. The party claims that this move was put forward since they want to encourage people to use the subways.
The brightly painted graffiti art on the walls will encourage people to use the subways and in addition, they propose to organize an event to have the blank sidewalls of the Vasudev Balwant Phadke Subway (Metro Junction near St Xavier's College) painted by young artists from Mumbai.
