The Indian Navy will object to any high-rise building and flying of helicopters over the military zone in Colaba.

"The Indian Navy will object to any high-rise building and flying of helicopters over the military zone in Colaba.

It is a security hazard," said Commander-in-Chief Vice Admiral Sanjeev Bhasin.

He was referring to the construction of a helipad on Sea Winds building in Cuffe Parade, where Anil Ambani resides.

The BMC had granted permission for the helipad earlier.

Said Bhasin, "The government should take a policy decision on proliferation of using helicopters by the corporate world, which could pose a threat to national security."
