Hyderabad: The heavy rains in Telangana have resulted in several tree barks to break and collapse, bringing ongoing commuters in vehicles on a standstill on Tuesday. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) staff began clearing roads that were blocked by these trees on Tuesday morning.
Skymet's weather report stated, "Rainfall activities are to continuously increase for the next three days over the entire state including its capital city Hyderabad." The increased rainfall activities also mark the arrival of Southwest Monsoon. Weather forecast for today shows light to moderate rain and thundershowers are very like to occur at few places in Telangana. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) states that heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana on Wednesday.
Also, in what can be stated as good news for Mumbaikars, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has declared the onset of monsoons over Mumbai today covering entire Maharashtra. It is time to be prepared for Mumbai rains as the monsoons have entered the city. As per earlier forecast by the IMD, the onset of monsoons was expected within 48 hours from Sunday. On Tuesday, the IMD had declared the monsoon onset over Mumbai. Director of IMD Mumbai Krishnanand Hosalikar, tweeted, "Monsoon onset declared in Mumbai today covering entire Maharashtra."

Murder Mystery Solved: 3D face helps cops crack case
The forensic department of the KEM Hospital has helped the Navghar police crack a two-month-old murder case with the help of facial reconstruction and 3D superimposition technology, which they used to put a face on the victim's severely fractured skull. Yogesh Rane, a worker at a tea stall in Mulund had in March smashed the face of his colleague Vijay Kishor and burnt his upper body for laughing at him at the gym. Bandra court asks police to probe case of school that blamed child for bad touch
The Bandra Court has directed the Santacruz police to register an offence against a reputed school in Vile Parle after a petitioner parent alleged mental harassment of her child by it. Last year, the eight-year-old child was reprimanded for inappropriately touching his classmates, by the school.
