The HSC exam on Tuesday put students in a panic mode; the board helpline has been pounded with endless calls from concerned students
The Physics paper of Higher School Certificate (HSC) exam on Tuesday gave an unexpected shock to many students, who have been bombarding the board office's helpline for the last two days.
The Mumbai helpline board (left) at Vashi has received a barrage of calls in the past two days from worried students saying that the Physics paper was quite tough
Counsellors were overwhelmed by the number of calls they have received of worried students and parents complaining that the paper was extremely tough.
The paper was on February 25, and from 2 pm the helpline received more than 100 calls. On Wednesday, the number was uncountable. Most of the callers enquired whether there would be a combined marking system for theory and practical, or whether the board will grant them grace marks.

Some students, however, felt that the paper was only slightly challenging. Kunal Jadega, a student from Mulund's Friends Co-Operative Education Society School said, "The Multiple Choice Questions were, partly, not from the textbook, theory otherwise was fine. Overall the paper was tough but I was able to manage things."
