There will be no hike till court passes an order on the same
The Bombay High Court continued with its stay on the proposed fare hike by Mumbai Metro as a bench is likely to hear the petition on April 12.
The Reliance Infra run Mumbai Metro One Pvt Ltd as per its fare fixation committee had proposed a fare hike for the Versova-Ghatkopar Metro Rail Corridor.
The petition was challenged by Mumbai Metropolitan Are a Development Authority along with intervener Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam.
The HC had given an interim stay on the matter on December 17 after which Reliance had approached Supreme Court that had refused to intervene in the matter and asked the Bombay High Court to look into it. Justice V M Kanade's bench continued the stay and will be hearing the matter on April 12.
