Goods train breaks down; disrupts services on Central Railway for over an hour

Local train services were disrupted on the down line of the Central Railway between Kalyan and Ambernath around 7 pm.

The incident happened when the engine of a goods train broke down and had to be replaced.

Services from Kalyan towards Ambernath were shut between 7 and 8.20 pm and only resumed after the train started functioning following the engine's replacement.
